Most parents dream of their kids turning out like Adam and Jonathan Holland, Owners of AJ’s Hawaiian Iceez in Maryland. I had a chance to sit down and explore the minds of these teen sensations during the 2011 Black Enterprise Entrepreneur’s Conference where they were named the Teenpreneurs of the Year.
My motives were mixed – partly curious about how serious they were about their business, part admiration because no one has ever named me the Entrepreneur of the Year and a lot of pride to see these young men focused on building a business, helping their parents while remaining grounded in their youth. I had to know – how do they do it all?
Check out the interview and share it with other young people that you know. They need to see their peers as role models in business and not just entertainment or sports.
